11/16/2005 - Ever?

These are just a few of the questions that keep on spinning in my mind~!

EVER?

Ever woken at night and the only way you remembered what you did last was felt your face wet with the tears you shed alone?

Every smelt freshly cut grass and thought of a colour a loved one had once worn?

Ever seen eyes that smiled?

Ever been amongst your closest loved ones but still felt unloved?

Ever fought back tears just because you had to be the strong one?

Ever felt the pain when the phone rang 15 times, but not once did the person you wanted to hear call?

Ever seen a new mom smile after pain?

Ever stopped seeing TV because almost every scene related to your pains?

Ever noticed that you miss your loved one more in happy occasions than sad?

Ever been in love with a man you vowed adversity against?

Ever been scolded for crying on your father’s death?

Ever been underestimated?

Ever felt your heart break?

Ever felt the salt on your face while standing at the seaside?

Ever felt like just being alone?

Ever felt the feeling of being a social rebel?

Ever given in to social norms?

Ever heard a story told by your Nani?

Ever lied down on your bed and stared at the ceiling fan wondering about your own existence?

Ever felt frustrated?

Ever felt pity?

Ever felt like an item when presenting yourself for a proposal?

Ever felt helpless?

Ever felt extreme pain?

Ever felt extreme emotional pain?

Ever crushed your dreams due to financial issues?

Ever felt the most loved person in your life die in your arms?

Ever driven for three hours straight and the airport was a sight you were desperate to see?

Ever felt the denial when you realised that men are infact stronger than women?

Ever felt your life end the day someone else’s did?

Ever felt that questions in life never end?

10/7/2005 - Women, Fasadis!

Women!

I think it’s true…they are the biggest "fasad" makers on earth! Congregational prayers… its amazing to see, when a man gets off a Mercedes convertible & stands next to a waiter from Red Apple. Brilliant.

Come to the women’s section… instead of starting from the 1st row, they’ll start from the last…. Some stand alone, while "burger families" come in groups of their own & want to even stand aloof from the rest, in "the groups of their own". & when you inform them, that a broken row, or standing separately is against the rules of congregational prayers, some ignore while others fight! & all this goes on in a Masjid.

Why? Why do women do this? I’m at a loss of words & have no explanations.

Lol…one of my brothers friend, I think said it right….Shaitan dekhna hai, tow aurat ko dekho!
